TIMELESS. WARM. FUN. RUNNING AROUND THE CITY IN LOVE.
Place #1 - The Vault Rooftop
Located in the heart of downtown Tulsa, this vintage diner is found on the rooftop of a parking deck. There is easy parking access and I recommend going about an hour before sunset so you don't have harsh lighting or shadows. Personally, I love getting the sky scrapers in the back.
Place #2 - South Boston Building
These gold doors are ICONIC. Photos in this spot give the feel of being in a big city like New York but in a more accessible way to Arkansas and Oklahoma locals. It is a very timeless, classic look.
Place #3 - The Mayo Hotel + Surrounding streets
You're welcome to take photos outside of any buildings for free. However, if you want to go inside the Mayo Hotel or any surrounding cocktail club or storefront, you will need the business' permission and most likely a photo permit. Email or call the place of business before entering to take photos. This may come at an additional cost to you.
Place #4 - The Philbrook Museum of Art
Saving the BEST FOR LAST!!! The Philbrook Museum of Art is literally a taste of an Italian Villa in the heart of Oklahoma. Only 6 minutes from downtown. You will need a photography pass and this will come at an additional cost. During operating hours, $50. After Hours Photography Permit, $250.If you can afford it, do the After Hours time slot, not only to get golden hour. But this way, you have the whole garden to yourself (with maybe 1 more photographer + couple duo depending on the day).
To see any of these full Galleries, reach out to me and I'd be happy to send them over to help give you inspo on where to shoot, posing, lighting, editing etc.!
