Best sunset location for engagement photos in Northwest Arkansas
Payton and Gavin's story originated in Italy when they were both studying to get their Master Degrees. Their love is elegant, joyful and timeless so we did our best to reflect that in their engagement shoot. We decided to go to a familiar park in Northwest Arkansas, Devil's Den State Park - but decided to find the hidden gems along the way instead of using the same picture spots that have been done before.
As you look through their gallery, you can see how we stopped in the middle of the road to run around as the trees hung over us and the sun drenched the shadows. Talk about a golden GLOW! Whether it's in color or black and white, I am swooning over how beautiful these turned out. As a photographer, it really stretched me and taught me how to work with different lighting settings like direct sunlight, sun rays behind them, the sunset etc.
We were actually on our way home from the session when we found this mountainous spot with the warm sunset and wildflowers - so we immediately pulled over and took advantage of the last 15 minutes of sunlight the day had left! Now I'm trying to figure out how to get these on the cover of a magazine because they are just captivating!
